Valley Art Center is finding new ways to bring art to the region despite the challenges the pandemic has brought us. In light of necessary COVID-19 precautions, we are staging Art by the Falls in our own facility in a Gallery Exhibition at 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls for the summer of 2021!
Every artist who was accepted to the festival for June of 2020 is invited to exhibit and sell their work in our gallery this summer.  There will be 2 separate 5-week exhibits: June 4-July 7 and July 23- September 1. All artwork will be for sale onsite as well as in our online gallery store. The shows will be promoted on our website and social media and print and digital marketing, including a virtual gallery walk through. In addition, we hope to offer pop-up events onsite and in the village of Chagrin Falls for local artists as we are able.

What you will need

• At least one digital image of each art piece, up to six submissions. These must be good photographs of the actual, original art work you want to enter to potentially exhibit. We recommend 3d artists submit up to three views of each submitted piece.
• Digital images must be saved in the JPG (JPEG) file format.
• Your pictures should be no smaller than 960 pixels and no larger than 4600 pixels on the longest side.
• They should be no bigger than 4 Mb in file size.
• Please make sure you are settled on titles, medium descriptions and prices. The way you identify yourself and your work in the submission form is what we utilize when we present your information on art labels and in program listings. Valley Art Center is not responsible for misspellings or incorrect information arising from inaccurately entered information.

Entering artwork submissions
After logging in or creating a new account, and paying the entry fee, you will Add a new submission. You will fill out the form with Category, Title, Dimensions (height, width, and depth), Sale price (all work entered must be for sale for this exhibit), and Medium for your first artwork submission. You will then upload an Attachment that is the photo of your artwork. 3d artists may upload 3 different views of each submission. If you would like to enter more than one work of art, please upload each entry separately by clicking Add a new submission after each succesful submission. Each artist may submit up to six works.

  • CTE opens February 1, 2021
  • CTE deadline, March 1, 2021 at 4 p.m.
  • Notification of jury results; Monday, March 29, 2021. Please do not call or email VAC for results.

• Artwork delivery
  • May 24-26: ABF 1 delivery, July 8-10: ABF 1 pick up
  • July 12-14: ABF 2 delivery, September 2-4: ABF 2 pick up

• Event dates
